“Day care providers say that they will absolutely not take a baby…”

Feb 22nd, 2013 | By | Category: Questions About Vaccines

baby-novaxFrom Ryan,

“I have two grandbabies due in late July. My kids are concerned since both their spouses work and they need to go back to work at some point. The day care providers say that they will absolutely not take a baby unless it has all of its vaccines. We have state waivers but they claim they don’t have to accept them.”

Those day care providers are acting responsibly by not allowing unvaccinated children to put others under their care at risk.
These parents need to consider the risks they will be placing their own children under by refusing to protect them from diseases that have the pontential to be deadly or disabling.
The proper place to obtain advice about the risks and benefits of vaccination is from a medical professional, not from a website like this one, which seeks to only present negative and untrue information about vaccines and ignore the positive effects of prevention.

  • Coral

Day care centers that accept state funds have to work under the rules of the state. If the state allows exemptions so do they. I would try other day cares as this one is not in line with your family’s values anyway.

  • Aria

So, explain to me how a vaccinated child can catch anything from an unvaccinated child ?If vaccines work as promised the vaccinated have literally nothing to fear from the unvaccinated, correct? And there are “positive effects of prevention ” but through real whole food organic diets , which the medical field you so trust in is blatantly lacking.

  • Argus

If you understood anything about immunology, you would realize that your questions do not make sense because they are not based on the way that vaccination and immunity actually work.
I could try to explain it to you, but something tells my you don’t want to hear any factual information that contradicts your world view.

  • Brody

actually… if you knew about immunology you wouldn’t be arguing this matter , would you? I’d have to say not. Why don’t you look at the RESEARCH done on vaccines.. and if they’re soooo safe, why is there thousands of doctors against them, and will not have any of the inoculations’ done on theirselves?

What a convenient argument for you.

not all state licensed day cares
are like that. i had one and she was just fine i dont vacc. :) just keep looking :)

  • sherri

if you fully understand immunology you would know that vaccines are proven to give antibodies, but are not proven to stop the diseases themselves. if you had an open mind and read from all of the research, as any ethical scientist well knows, you would know this, too. then the fact that you choose to vaccinate would be an informed choice.

Try hiring a nanny who comes in every day……. often older mothers whose children are all in school during the day, or even grandmothers, who would like to make some extra money, would love to come to look after kids at their own house. I did that for a number of years after my children were grown, and the kids I looked after thought pretty much I was another grandmother, and didn’t understand why I wasn’t invited to family gatherings! ;-)

Good for your kids for not wanting to vaccinate…. they truly care about their children’s health.

You’re the ignorant one, who only repeats the fallacies pharmaceutical companies and doctors (who are trained by the pharmaceutical companies, as medical schools are pretty much run by them) are spouting.

Not a single vaccine in all of history has been proven to be either safe or effective. If you actually dare to look at REAL studies done, which weren’t financed by the pharmaceutical companies manufacturing them, you would find that you’re very wrong in your stance. The evidence points to vaccinations NOT providing immunity at all, but rather make you more susceptible to the illness they’re supposedly protecting you from.

Just look at all the recent outbreaks of mumps, measles, chicken pox and whooping cough. They occurred all in highly vaccinated populations. In some cases 100% of the kids in those schools with the ‘epidemic’ were fully vaccinated.

Meaning, that those vaccines (and all others) are not only complete failures, but they also cause harm.

We all know “Argus” is a pharma shill. Easily ignored.

  • Linda

Uneducated providers —- go else where …. In today’s life —- you will have to fine people who believe in your beliefs.
In all honesty — I would not want my children with vaccinated children… ! That is not safe to me at all…
I always ask parents —– is your child worth the sacrifice ? Mine were never to me 1 child affected from a vaccination is to much. God has given you a GIFT….

  • Ginger

The time is upon us all. If we continue to ignore the lack of safety and the amount of damage that is being done by these vaccines then we can pretty much say goodbye to the human race …. I find those most likely to ridicule are those that have never researched the available material or have been lucky so far playing Russian roulette with own their child’s life… Lets face it , each time you vaccinate you place another bullet in the chamber… Some die instantly then there are those of us who suffer years down the track with all sorts of dis eases within the body …. Caused by greed and more greed… How is in this day and age we still see hunger and people dying from diseases which are brought on by malnutrition …. This is a crime against humanity, and as long as people continue to be naive and stick there heads in the sand , I’m sorry to say I don’t hold much hope for a future for any of us…

Sheri, please list your proof…. and any “ethical” scientist would stop injecting babies and children AFTER ONE DEATH or POSSIBLE RELATED HEALTH PROBLEM…
That is what ANYONE with ETHICS would do…
NOT CONTINUE TO GIVE THE VACCINES TO OTHERS

  • marinda john

The daycare provider really is such an important part of the child’s team and often has great insights to share.
    long day care

  • Jim Bob

Argus is actually 100% correct. Although I understand why he didn’t want to explain it to you folks since he (and others including myself) have explained in previous posts why Aria’s questions are fallacious and illogical. But I suppose I can do it again.

Childhood vaccines have an efficacy rate of approximately 90-95% depending on the vaccine (this can be confirmed on the website of any public health authority). So yes, a room with 10 children will possibly have 1 where full immunity was not bestowed by the vaccine. Ergo an unvaccinated child would be putting another vaccinated child at risk.

So while a health lifestyle and diet is certainly beneficial as a method dealing with an infection, vaccines should always be the primary method of prevention as seen by the success of vaccines in the eradication of many childhood diseases like Polio and small pox.
It should be noted that at no point has anyone in the medical or scientific community said that vaccines are 100% effective but they have stated it is the best defence for our children against these deadly diseases.

  • http://vactruth.com Jeffry John Aufderheide

Backup your statement with actual data. Start with the flu vaccine.

  • Argus

    Thanks, Jim Bob.

  • Argus

Why don’t we start with the stipulation that in trying to combat the spread of various diseases – be they bacterial or viral – there are varying degrees of difficulty in developing a vaccine that produces a uniformly high and permanent immunity in every individual. And that immunity after having the disease (and surviving) isn’t always permanent, either.
That in the end, the decision to use a vaccine is a matter of weighing its real risks and benefits against the risks and dangers of the unchecked disease.
Because, Jeffrey, if you are not willing to agree with these facts – and they are the facts – then there is no use trying to have a discussion at all.

  • Argus

And we all know that you have nothing intelligent to offer this discussion.

Otherwise you would have something to say besides name-calling.

  • Dr Phil

You refuse small injections which cause physical harm in some cases, but want to give your child up to a daycare center, abdicating your parental roles to minimum wage employees of a faceless corporation? You are truly a confused person.

  • black flag

Public health authority?? A public health authority that’s in a government that accepts millions of dollars in donations and lobbying from big pharma? The same pharmaceutical owners and Ceo’s that are in the FDA, who do all their own studies and tests and cover up any negative results? A government that spends tax payers millions in subsidies that go to pharmaceutical companies for the said vaccines? These science and medical communities also rely on government funding for their research ( more tax payers money). They dare not speak out against the status quo in fear for loosing funding and contracts. Those individuals whom do speak up get ostracised ,ridiculed and accused of quackery .Follow the money and I think you’ll find a massive conflict of interest going on here. What I am saying is authority is not the truth, governments do not do what is best for people, that is obvious.

But I don’t understand. If all the other kids in the daycare ARE VACCINATED, then what do they have to worry about?

  • http://www.facebook.com/aaron.moore.50309 Aaron Moore

Seems to me that neurological diseases are WAY UP, and your chances of getting lock jaw are WAY DOWN.

  • Argus

So you think the requirement to be vaccinated to attend daycare should be dropped? What happens when the number of kids vaccinated drops to a level that leads to outbreaks?

  • http://www.facebook.com/aaron.moore.50309 Aaron Moore

Why don’t we start with asking ourselves WHAT ELSE are in these vaccines besides what they are trying to protect us from. Last time I checked, Mercury was a neurotoxin. Also, who is responsible if my child is damaged from

  • Nate

Well, when the doctors giving the vaccination are willing to sign my liability form and take all the responsibility for any and all adverse reactions to these “safe and effective” vaccines then just maybe I would think about giving vaccines to my kids. BUT, they back out very quickly from signing the form I give them for liability. Why?????

  • Nate

And health authorities have good data to back up these efficacy rates. You are IGNORANT!!!! Do some more research and read some of Dr. Mendelsohn’s books. Especially the one called “How to keep your child healthy in spite of your doctor”.

  • Argus

Why? Because they know that a clever lawyer would use a form like that to persuade a gullible jury that some incident unrelated to the vaccine administration must be the doctor’s fault and liability.

But if you are truly concerned about compensation in the rare possibility of a vaccine-related adverse event, there is already a system set up to take that responsibility without the bother of resorting to a lawsuit. It’s called the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, and the standard of proof to be met is lower than would be required in a court action.

The only catch, of course, is that the injury being claimed must have plausibly been caused by the vaccine.
