This Is the Way One Father Told His Pediatrician “No” to Vaccines

Dear Robert O’Kane (and all parents) — you don’t even have to consider getting the shots as your children get older … the vaccinations are becoming increasingly more poisonous! Thank you for putting this toxic allopathic doctor in her/his place; many have lost sight of their Hippocratic Oath. These doctors know the toxicity charts, since they studied them for many years, but they have very sadly become just a part of the unethical, immoral and illegal venue of eugenics.

Vaccines from what I understand are just like flouride when it comes to what the doctors are ALLOWED to tell you. Let me tell you a short story, I had to take my child to the ER one day after the school allowed them to have a cookie which sent their sugar levels too high. When the doctor asked about the flouride pills we had been giving to my child (our water is not flouridated so doctors recommend it) I told them I investigated flouride and found out that it was toxic waste and we no longer allow the flouride pills. The doctor said, “Good”. When I asked them why they don’t tell parents about flouride they explained, “We are not ALLOWED to, however, if a parent ask us about it, then we can inform them”. Makes you wonder what else they are prevented from telling us unless we ask first.

I have quit trying to reason with medicos. They are wedded to their dogma and will not look at any logical information that contradicts it. I would accept it if they still believed in the vaccine superstition as long as they don’t try to foist it on me.

Doesn’t it make ya wonder about the legitimacy of the whole medical profession??? I understand trauma docs but the rest of them…I don’t trust any of them… ESPECIALLY when they willingly take an oath to NOT inform and keep the general public healthy and out of harm’s way. DrKeteDC – I agree with you 100%. There’s a saying: a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still – and that’s oh so true. We all need to get rid of our admiration of doctors and realize they are very stressed humans in pursuit of many dollars. They are responsible for knowing the facts but too busy to research. In fact, they work for us – not the other way around. As a parent you have to do the research and when you read about mercury and aluminum (in vaccines) that alone should make you not want to vaccinate. There is simply NEVER a good reason to inject a healthy infant with any of these substances. It is really that simple. And so is the “cure” – Vitamin C as extraordinary powers in preventing whooping cough and other illnesses we vaccinated for. Doctors learn to rely on big pharma rather than mother nature because big pharma funds most of the medical schools.
Keep writing and spreading the message to others. I will to my dying day and hope to make a difference.

Well that’s what I keep saying. I say all of them at one time. Let’s see how many of them survive then to say how safe they are for children 1/10 their size and weight.

This is an excellent letter–every parent should read it–and every doctor. I am surprised about the “PS We are considering the shots as she gets older.” I am also surprised at the last lines in the letter: “We admire your practice…she deserves the best, and we think we found it.” I personally feel it is criminal negligence on the part of any doctor that tries to persuade or force parents to agree to have their child vaccinated. I was very disillusioned in a doctor I had who was rude to me when I declined his offer of a flu shot and a pneumonia shot.

People are deluded into believing that vaccines are based on science–but it is just the opposite. They are not based on science but on blind superstition, in my opinion. It only takes common sense to realized that injecting toxic substances into the body of a child (or anyone) will not result in making that person healthier.

I wouldn’t give this doctor another chance with my child after he lied to them and reported to authorities which could have had this little girl taken from these loving, intelligent, well-read parents.
So far I’ve been fortunate with the doctors I’ve seen, which is only when I need a physical to continue working. Just had a physical a month ago and they told me all the vaccines I was supposedly behind on. The flu shot was one, which I have never had. The pneumonia shot was another plus a shot for shingles. I said “no”. I will not!! But I have no doubt that someday it may be required and we may even be forced to take them.

That is interesting. I remember years ago when a doctor advised giving Tylenol to my granddaughter. I asked him if Tylenol is safe. He replied, “Well, if there is an overdose it will destroy the liver.” I asked him how much is an overdose, and he said, “Twice the prescribed amount.” This shocked me, because he would never had mentioned it if I had not asked him. I have known many mothers who frequently given Tylenol to their children, if they have a slight fever. They seem to think it’s harmless. And doctors often recommend giving Tylenol.

I strongly recommend EVERYONE getting a Medical Waiver Vaccination Exemption. I did so, for my entire family. There are fortunately still some MDs out there that will sign them, but those numbers are decreasing for sure as the Establishment puts more pressure on them NOT to sign them. Make sure you get a 50-year expiration Waiver (not the year-to-year one); the doctor has to know that your allergic reaction to albumen, formaldehyde, aluminum and other grotesque ingredients such as sheep, monkey & other animal RNA is LIFELONG.

A few years ago, I researched this in-depth, and made an open-source Medical Waiver letter for parents to give to an MD; you need to fax this to the MD before your visit, making sure that s/he (the doctor) will sign it. At your visit (which is not cheap, the crooks) to get the Waiver, you need to ask for the State form (usually a green sheet) that will accompany my detailed letter (and get the doctor’s office ‘stamp’ on that too). The Doctors office will notify the State Health dept. and the parents insurance carrier. The state will notify the school system if the child is in school. The school and the State Health Dept will notify the Parent that the child is not up to date on their shots. I know this for a fact because my daughter goes through it every year despite having state exemptions on file. Doctors have an additional incentive for pushing shots; they get paid bonuses for 100% immunization rates. I don’t think parents can ever approach a Pediatrician visit the way it was back in the day. Concern for the health and well being of your child has given way to bonuses and maintaing allegiance in the old boy club.
The form posted in the first part of this comment is one suggested by the AAP but each state may have their own. I would find out what’s going around in your individual state, get a copy and document what you intentions are prior to a Doctors visit. Make sure it’s calm and balanced, stating specifically why you object to the shots providing copies of the vaccine vial package insert with the adverse reactions highlighted. If you have any other verifiable information ie:PubMed, CDC etc, I would include that. I would go so far to to create a cover letter stating you are providing this document in lieu of the Refusal Form which you feel is bias and inflammatory. Have it notarized which will give them pause to try and copy, cut and paste it to make changes. It doesn’t cost much. Have the Doctors office sign a statement confirming they have received a copy. Make sure you create a word/works file of all of this so you can update when appropriate so you don’t have to start from scratch when you do find it necessary to see the Doc. Oh yea, if you have to take your child to emergency-take the document. As reported of this site there was an incident in Michigan where parents took their baby to emergency and the only thing the staff could see is the child hadn’t had an MMR despite the fact he was too young for it. The staff even made a public scene. At all times you need to be prepared.

If this pediatrician was so misinformed, why in the world would you go back and expose your child to his ignorance? Unbelieveable! Please, don’t FENCE RIDE. Take one side or the other. No joe is right and you’re wrong, very wrong. ALL THREE of my sons were born “normal” they each became “autistic” after their second round of vaccinations. This was years back before anyone began questioning what was in the vaccinations. Read the ingredients and do the research. Our vaccinations are not safe.

Now in doing research on my family, I have several ancestors that lived to at least 100 and many lived into their 80’s and 90’s. With each generation, life expectancy has gone down dramatically (with doctors).

It’s important to refer to “Aluminum Salts” instead of Aluminum. There is no elemental Aluminum in vaccine but there are Aluminum compounds. Pro-vaxers like to dismiss this concern based on semantics.

As a medical professional, I am not going to engage in debate on vaccine appropriateness, but I thought I would set something straight for you regarding your source material. I have no doubts about the veracity of the impact of aluminum in the neonate when included in parenteral nutrition. I am actually a nurse that works with the very population cited here, and much change has come through recently regarding how we handle TPN. TPN stands for Total Parenteral Nutrition. TPN is replacement nutrition for individuals (of all ages) who are either too ill, their system too immature (for example very preterm babies) or otherwise compromised to absorb nutrition through their GI tract, and it is given through an IV directly into their bloodstream. The absorption ratio is vastly different when you compare the same medication administered IM (into the muscle, like immunizations) versus IV (directly into the blood stream).
Using this information to validate your stance weakens your point as you are using administration & toxicity values that are not consistent with the vaccines you are disputing.
I understand that it is an easy mistake when you are not familiar with the medical terms and indications referenced in medical studies and information. I just don’t want anyone reading your otherwise eloquent letter to repeat the values referenced, further perpetuating the misinterpreted information. It really is like comparing apples and oranges, both are fruits, but really do taste quite different, don’t you think?

I am aware that there are documented cases of people contracting diseases for which they are clinically fully immunized and that the manufacturers of the vaccines do not guarantee 100% efficacy. POLIO: I have been informed of the risk of my child developing paralytic disease and meningitis associated with poliomyelitis. I understand that even under epidemic conditions, natural polio produces no symptoms in over 90% of those exposed to it.(1) I understand that there have been no cases of wild polio in the US in the last 20 years and that those cases which have been documented have been caused by the vaccine.(2)

Not recommended for use in households where someone has a compromised immune system, for pregnant women, or where a previous reaction has been reported.(3)

Killed virus Ipol® is grown on monkey kidney cells, contains formaldehyde, and triple antibiotics. Poliovax® is grown on cells from an aborted baby, contains formaldehyde, cow serum and triple antibiotic solution.(4) The monkey kidney cells used in the original killed polio vaccine contains SIV-40 and has been found in tumor cells of children whose parent’s were vaccinated against polio using the contaminated virus.(5) The live vaccine is grown on monkey kidney cells, antibiotics and calf serum.

HEMOPHILUS INFLUENZAE B: I have been informed of the risk of my child developing meningitis (although this vaccine will not protect the child from meningitis from all other forms such as pneumococcus, and meningococcus, viruses, and fungi), pneumonia, and infections of the blood, joints, bone, and soft tissue associated with Hemophilus Influenzae B. I understand that this disease is most likely in children up to 15 months of age and is fatal in 3-6% of children who contract it. Incidence of this disease today is low and the vaccine has not proven to be highly effective in 41% of cases, according to some studies.(6) Treatment is available.

The vaccine is often combined with the DPT which has the highest reaction rate of any vaccine available today. Reactions include: contracting HIB, localized pain, erythema and induration, fever >100.6°, irritability, lethargy, anorexia, rhinorrhea, diarrhea, vomiting, cough, when administered alone. Reactions occurred in up to 30% of patients. When administered in conjunction with the DPT, reactions include local tenderness erythema and induration, fever >100.8°, irritability, drowsiness, anorexia, diarrhea, vomiting, persistent crying, seizures, urticaria, hives, renal failure, Guillain-Barré Syndrome and death. Reactions occurred in up to 77.9% of patients.(7)

The vaccine contains yeast, thimerosal (mercury derivative), and diphtheria toxoid when given alone.(8)

PERTUSSIS: I have been informed of the risk of my child developing whooping cough, pneumonia, convulsions, inflammation of the brain, and death associated with pertussis. I understand the disease is rarely fatal, with a 99.8% recovery rate. It is most serious and life-threatening in children under 6 months old, but there are adequate methods of treatment available.(9)

The vaccine is most often given in conjunction with diphtheria and tetanus as the DPT or as the DaPT.

Pertussis vaccine may cause: fevers >106, pain swelling, diarrhea, projectile vomiting, excessive sleepiness, high–pitched screaming, inconsolable crying bouts, seizures, convulsions, collapse, shock, breathing problems, brain damage and SIDS. One in 600 suffer a severe reaction in one study (10) and 1 in 875 suffered shock-collapse and convulsions.(11) Those in the 2nd study were only tracked for the first 48 hours following immunization. A more recent study indicates that 1 in 100 react with convulsions, collapse, or high-pitched screaming and 1 in 3 of those cases sustained permanent brain damage.(12) In a study of 103 children who died of SIDS, 70% died within 3 weeks of the DPT vaccine and 37% of those died within the first week.(13)

The DaPT is recommended as a safer option for vaccination. Side effects of the DaPT were only tracked for 72 hours and included: tenderness, erythema, induration, fever >102.2°, drowsiness, fretfulness, vomiting, upper respiratory infection, diarrhea, rash, febrile seizures, persistent or unusual crying, lethargy, hypronic-hyporesponsive episode, urticaria, anaphylactic shock, convulsions, encephalopathy, mono- and polyneuropathies and death.(14) Not recommended for children under 15 months or for those who have not had 3 injections of the DPT.

Either form of the vaccine contains thimerosal (mercury derivative), formaldehyde, and aluminum phosphate.(15)

DIPHTHERIA: I have been informed of the risk of my child developing paralysis, heart failure, or respiratory failure associated with diphtheria. I have also been informed that there have only been 5 cases reported annually since 1980.(16) I am also aware that diphtheria is rarely fatal and treated with antibiotics and bed rest. (17)

The Diphtheria component is most often given within the DPT or DaPT and includes the same side effects and reactions as those listed for pertussis.

TETANUS: I have been informed of the risk of my child developing fatal neuromuscular disease related to tetanus. I understand that the incidence of tetanus is low, and there is an antitoxin, should we decline the immunization. I understand that contracting tetanus does not provide life-long immunity, and neither does the vaccine. I understand that to prevent more severe reactions from the vaccine, the tetanus component has been so significantly “diluted” that it is clinically ineffective.(18) I understand that the death rate for properly treated cases of tetanus may be as high as 20%.(19)

Side effects of the tetanus vaccine alone include: high fever, pain, recurrent abscess formation, inner ear nerve damage, demyelinating neuropathy, anaphylactic shock and loss of consciousness.(20)

Tetanus given in the DPT or DaPT shot include the same side effects and reactions as those listed for pertussis.

RUBEOLA (MEASLES): I have been informed of the risk of my child developing pneumonia, encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), degenerative disease of the nervous system with convulsions (subacute sclerosing panencephalitis) related to rubeola. I understand the death rate for measles is .03 in 100,000.(21) I understand that since 1984, over 55% of documented, confirmed cases of measles have been in fully immunized persons.(22)

I understand that the greatest risk of the measles vaccine may be to push the incidence of this disease into the late teens and adulthood where it is more likely to be fatal or cause more adverse and long-term effects.(23)

The measles vaccine is a live vaccine, and carries the risk that it will cause the patient to contract measles. Other adverse reactions include: stinging or burning at the injection site, anaphylaxis, fever up to one month following injection, rash, cough, rhinitis, erythema multiforme, lymphadenopathy, urticaria, diarrhea, febrile convulsions, seizures, thrombocytopenia, purpura, vasculitis, optic neuritis, retrobulbar neuritis, papillitis, retinitis, encephalitis and encephalopathy, ocular palsies, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, ataxia, and subacute sclerosing panencephalitis.(24)

Measles vaccine is most often given as a part of the MMR which includes the following side effects: burning or stinging at injection site, malaise, sore throat, cough, rhinitis, headache, dizziness, fever, rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, erythema, induration, tenderness, lymphadenopathy, parotitius, orchitis, nerve deafness, thrombocytopenia, purpura, allergic reactions, urticaria, polyneuritis, arthralgia, arthritis, anaphylaxis, vasculitis, otitis media, conjunctivitis, febrile convulsions, seizures, syncope, erythema multiforme, optic neuritis, retrobulbar neuritis, papillitis, retinitis, encephalitis and encephalopathy, ocular palsies, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, ataxia, subacute sclerosing panencephalitis,(25) and a recent study from Europe indicates that there may be a link between the MMR (measles/mumps/rubella) vaccine and autism and irritable bowel syndrome.(26)

Measles vaccine contains chick embryo cells, neomycin, sorbitol and hydrolyzed gelatin. MMR contains all live vaccines, chick embryo, cells from aborted babies, neomycin, sorbitol and hydrolyzed gelatin.(27)

MUMPS: I have been informed of the risk of my child developing inflammation of the testicles, joints, kidneys, and/or thyroid, and hearing impairment related to mumps. I understand that mumps is rarely harmful in childhood, and that most of the above risks occur when mumps is contracted in adolescence or adulthood.(28)

RUBELLA (GERMAN MEASLES): I have been informed of the risk of my child developing inflammation of the brain or joints, and of the risk of birth defects (including eye defects, heart defects, deafness, mental retardation, growth failure, jaundice, and disorders of blood clotting) in infants born to mothers who contract rubella during pregnancy, related to rubella. Therefore, I understand that the greatest risk to my child may be if she never contracts rubella as a child, but when she is pregnant and it damages her unborn child. If she contract rubella in childhood, she is immune for life, and prior to the vaccine 85% of the population was immune.(31) I understand that if she is not immune as an adult, she can choose to take the vaccine prior to becoming pregnant. I understand that many of those who contract rubella have been immunized (up to 80%). (32)

Adverse reactions from the vaccine among teenage girls is 5-10% and 30% in adult women.(33) Adverse reactions include: contracting rubella from the live virus in the vaccine, burning or stinging at the site, lymphadenopathy, urticaria, rash, malaise, sore throat, fever, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, polyneuritis, arthralgia, arthritis, local pain and inflammation, erythema multiforme, cough, rhinitis, vasculitis, anaphylaxis, syncope, optic neuritis, retrobulbar neuritis, papillitis, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, encephalitis, thrombocytopenia, purpura, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. (34)

Rubella is most often administered in the MMR and may cause those side effects and adverse reactions listed under measles.

Rubella is cultured on the tissue of an aborted child. This child was the 27th child aborted and tested by researchers due to exposure to rubella in a pregnant woman. It contains neomycin, sorbitol and hydrolyzed gelatin.(35)

HEPATITIS B: I have been informed of the risk of my child developing Hepatitis B viral infection which can cause chronic inflammation of the liver leading to cirrhosis, liver cancer, and possibly death. I understand that my child’s risk of developing Hepatitis B is low if I am not a carrier or infected, if my child does not engage in promiscuous sex or use drugs. I understand that there is antibiotic treatment for HepB and that most of those who contract it recover.(36) I understand that the HepB vaccine only contains strains of HepB and is not effective against HepA, C, D, E, F, or G.

I understand that the HepB vaccine has the following side effect and adverse reactions: induration, erythema, swelling, fever, headache, dizziness, pain, prutitus, ecchymosis, sweating, malaise, chills, weakness, flushing, tingling, hypotension, flu-like symptoms, upper respiratory illness, nausea, anorexia, abdominal pain and cramping, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, lymphadenopathy, pain or stiffness in muscles and joints, arthralgia, myalgia, back pain, rash, urticaria, petechiae, sleepiness, insomnia, irritability, agitation, anaphylaxis, angioedema, arthritis, tachycardia/palpitations, bronchospasm, abnormal liver function tests, dyspepsia, migraine, syncope, paresis neuropathy, hypothesis, paresthesis, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, Bell’s Palsy, transverse myelitis, optic neuritis, multiple sclerosis, thrombocytopenia, eczema, purpura, herpes zoster, erythema modosum, alopecia, conjunctivitis, keratisis, visual disturbances, vertigo, tinnitus, earache, and dysuria.(37) The studies only followed patients for 4 days post-vaccination.

The most commonly used HepB vaccine contains thimerosal, although a relatively new release does not contain thimerosal. The vaccine also contains: aluminum hydroxide, yeast protein, and phosphate buffers.(38)

VARICELLA (CHICKENPOX): I have been informed of the risk of my child developing chicken pox which could potentially result in pneumonia, secondary skin or generalized infections, or, if caught during pregnancy, birth defects in the baby. I understand chicken pox is generally benign in children, but results in significant lost hours at work for parents. Chicken pox in adults often manifests as shingles, a chronic and painful condition. I also understand that contracting chicken pox later in life may increase my risk for herpes simplex.

Side effects and adverse reactions for the chicken pox vaccine include: contracting chicken pox from the live vaccine (27%), pain and redness at site, swelling, erythema, rash, pruritus, hematoma, induration, stiffness, upper respiratory illness, cough, irritability/nervousness, fatigue, disturbed sleep, diarrhea, loss of appetite, vomiting, otitis, diaper rash/contact rash, nausea, eye complaints, chills, lymphadenopathy, myalgia, lower respiratory illness, headache, teething, malaise, abdominal pain, other rash, allergic reactions including rash and hives, stiff neck, heat rash/prickly heat, arthralgia, eczema/dry skin/dermatitis, constipation, itching, pneunonitis, febrile seizures, and cold/canker sore.(39)

Varicella vaccine is cultured on cells from aborted babies, and guinea pig cell cultures. It contains live virus, monisodium glutamate (msg), sucrose, phosphate, processed gelatin, neomycin and fetal calf serum. (40)

If I understood you correctly in comparing routes of administration you are indicating that tissue absorption is higher when passing through the digestive tract vs direct IM administration? Correct me if I misunderstood you. If that is what you are indicating I would disagree. IM administration would allow for a much higher percentage of the metal to reach the tissues than if administered orally as not everything and certainly not 100% of it is absorbed in the digestive tract. Once in the muscle it will be picked up by the circulatory system and delivered systemically throughout the body to be absorbed at a higher rate than if not administered IM. Although I could not ascertain that his references indicate that the aluminum absorption were strictly gastrointestinal, either way the basic point remains that dosages of aluminum are much higher than what is considered safe for certain body sizes typical in young children. Far too much information has been kept hidden from the public with respect to vaccines and their safety. Additionally, unless I am mistaken, the studies on vaccine efficacy and safety were all performed by the manufacturers. At a minimum this would be a strong conflict of interest.

I suffered for five years with an almost permanent cold lasting months, before I realised they commenced I shortly after my yearly flu jab. I have declined it for the last four years, and the colds declned along with them.
Then, during the swine flu scare, I learned that vaccines awaiting despatch to fifteen countries had been contaminated with live bird flu virus (I cannot happen by accident).
I will never roll up my sleeve again.

I did the same thing. I took the inserts and went home and added up all the ingredients and sat there with my mouth on the floor. It really is simple math.

Fascinating…my child has had every single vaccine since birth that his doctor recommends, including an annual flu vaccine. He is a bright, successful, extremely healthy and well adjusted 9 year old. I’ve read stories about parents finding the greatest Doctor in the world until the parents start asking questions about vaccines, decide to alter the CDC’s vaccination schedule for their child/ren or opt out of vaccines period. Very interesting that there are so many public cases involving medical abuse (Justina Pelletier, Melissa Diegel and Michelle Rider) alleged by hospitals and rogue doctors against parents when they have a difference of opinion regarding the care for their children. The medical abuse allegations results in CPS being called and the children placed in foster care simply because a parent disagreed with a doctor about the type of treatment their child(ren) were/are receiving. With the new mandated policy that says parents have to go to a physician first to be told all the pros of being vaccinated (use to be just cite religious exemption but not anymore), if the parent still refuses, case precedent is already being established that will allow the doctor/hospital to allege medical abuse for not vaccinating their child(ren) and take the child(ren) in as wards of the state which now subjects those same child(ren) to medical/clinical experimentation pursuant Federal law that allows this. Does this seem insane to anyone else???

You do realize that the muscles are highly vascular, right? And what happens when something is injected into highly vascular tissues? Yep, it is picked up into the blood stream pretty quickly. While it is not direct IV, it is a quick passage to the blood stream the the vascular tissues. And it is absorbed more so in the vascular tissues than it is in the digestive tract. Test that: Inject someone in the arm with COCAINE and then have the same person eat that same amount. You get the picture. Anyways, there is no way that you are going to convince me being highly educated in the specific field of neurology that IM injections of high levels of aluminum are somehow supposed to MAGICALLY not cause damage because they have been injected ALL in one day. It’s not just me. There are lots of highly educated people out there who are not going to sacrifice their children to nerve damage from toxic dosages of dangerous substances. I’m not going to do it. We’re not going to do it. I know you get PAID to inject these substances into children. And I am sure that you don’t want to believe that what you are doing is causing a significant amount of damage, but it does. Even when toxic metals are ingested and excreted, take for example lead, upon their passage they cause damage whether it was a small dose, or a larger dose is irrelevant. The damage is there, and just as we age, the damage increases over time with more exposure. Bio-accumulations of toxins that the body has not excreted and stored. This isn’t just black and white the way you want to make it out to be. There are many other concerns besides the rates of absorption.

Different children react in different ways to whichever way the parents go. Some children have severe reactions to the vaccines (Mine did) and some don’t. Some end up being sickly and (once again..) I believe that they were being gentle in their approach so that the doctor would not feel personally offended which could, in the worst case, result in retaliatory behavior, and, in the worst case, the “confiscation” of their child. If the doctor were to pursue action against the parents, they have here, with their presentation, something that indicates their competence. It’s thorough and credible with citations.

My 11 yo daughter is up for the hep b shot for 6th grade…I had the shot when I was younger but I now am rethinking whether or not my daughter will be receiving the shot. hey, me too. I had few vaccines as a child. So did my older sister, and my current wife. But you know what? It’s a miracle that I’m alive today. I’ve been sick with a preventable disease when I was just 5. I was in terrible pain, lost a lot of weight, and was admitted to the hospital, where I was quarantined for a whole month. Me, a 5 year old boy, not being able to see any of my family, for one month. Have you ever been in quarantine? You can’t even piss or shit into a normal toilet. You have to gather your waste in a large container, that gets taken to sterilization after it is filled. You don’t get to interact with other people that you know.
My sister went through the same ordeal. At the age of 7, she lost enough weight to weigh just 17kg. She couldn’t even walk. She was just lying there, half dead, from a preventable disease. She got through it though.

Stories like these are common, if you are open enough to look for them and not ignore as “didn’t kill me – fuck it”. People actually die from diseases that are easily prevented with vaccines. There is a reason why infant deaths have dramatically fallen in the last decades, to reach an almost zero level. We can at last take care of preventable diseases. acutally, much of the “internet propaganda” you seem to believe I’ve been espousing were actual research articles published in peer-reviewed journals, accessed thru medical/scientific aggregators such as pubmed, CINAHL, EMBASE, Cochrane. JD, of course it makes sense. The testing part, well, that’s not entirely true. I know first hand numerous vaccines and medicines that went through the fast track approval without testing or proper testing. Additionally, there are numerous vaccine labels that certain testing was not performed or lacked data. This is just one reason why I feel the system needs an overhaul. Actually, you are correct. I had the wrong illness. I was reading how about 40 unvaccinated children had measles in the US, and that about 40 recently died from measles in the phillipines within a 4 month time period, and mixed the regions.

So other areas of the world without vaccination: children die regularly from these diseases. In the US, deaths appear restricted to varicella, influenza, pertussis, tetanus, haemophilus, and human papilloma virus. That’s not so bad, right? You’re right though. No measles.

Over 1500 died from the flu in this country in 2011. Largely preventable.

JD, the Gardasil vaccine had roughly 1,800 test, they fast tracked the program without the result being back in. I know one of the people who help fund this. I totally agree with you that we need a centralized testing for all drugs and vaccines. I had mumps, rubella, whooping cough! I also had the shots a year or so before I got them. Worst of both worlds, eh? ;). Glad I had whooping cough as a kid: my babies get my immunities when they are most fragile. Lots of babies are suffering now, with Moms who have no antibodies to give them (vaccines don’t transfer in breastmilk at all, unlike real immunities).

Your statistic does not take into account the poor dietary health, sanitation, and treatment education at that time. If it helps you, though, I had Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Pertussis. I had them two, three, and four years after I got the booster. My grandfather was a highly respected doctor and my Mom knew about the diseases. I sat tight, drank teas, ate fresh foods, and got better. Now I am both grateful for the lifetime immunity (and breastmilk immunity I give my children) and pissed that I had the useless shot.

Wishful thinking on your part, but unfortunately as more children are getting sick and even dying from preventable diseases, parents are starting to increase vaccinations again. It’s a shame children had to be so affected for common sense to come back.

First, let me acknowledge what you have right, to be fair here. The flu vaccine is not a guarantee. Flu changes quickly, and the vaccine is our best evidence-based attempt to prevent specific versions from causing illness. Sometimes the people who make vaccines get it wrong, and the actual strains that emerge are different from the ones initially suspected. That sucks, but most of the time they are right.

Second, mercury in its elemental form like the kind found in your thermostat is bad. Mercury changed into another compound entirely at those doses is not. Compare that to oxygen (benign) and carbon monoxide (deadly). And yes, studies even show that really high doses of thimerisal are bad. But every study across the board has shown NO issues with the doses being given in vaccines.

Third. More importantly, it has largely been removed anyway just because people flipped out for no reason.

Compare their fatality and severe reaction rates to the confirmed rates of vaccine reaction to the Dtap in the UK. Here is a little education about the pharmaceutical industry. When one buys a vaccine, there is a tax added that pays for the fund. When a claim is made, it is the buyers of the vaccines who pay for the damages. The pharmaceutical companies in America have no liability and that’s why their vaccines are so dangerous. If we were able to sue them, they would clean up their act.

Iron, zinc, potassium and water are all essential for us to live unlike aluminum. It has also not been proven to have any beneficial role in our body so there is no reason for us to be consuming more of it.

There are people who for real, true medical reasons cannot be vaccinated. Not some made up religious exemption. Real medical reasons. Some people are born with extremely weak immune systems and their bodies cannot handle vaccines. These people rely on what’s called herd immunity – if everyone around them is vaccinated and therefore does not have these awful diseases, their chances of acquiring these diseases that they could not be vaccinated against (through no fault of their own nor through any extremely poor decisions from their parents) decrease drastically.

1. I had rubella. Fifteen years ago, a year or so after my usual MMR booster. I had Mumps and pertussis as well. I had always been vaccinated.

2. Go ahead, start reading those studies. I was excessively and blindly pro vaccine before I did that, just like you. Make sure you look in depth at the fact that financial interest jump started the vaccine culture, and an end-justifies-the-means is often behind what studies get funded, and what do not.

3. Herd immunity has to do with actual immunity received through having a disease. The hijacking of that term for vaccines would have been ok if vaccines had a similar immunity. Unfortunately, that is not true. How well vaccines actually work as a “herd” defense is overstated, as many studies have had a side result showing vaccines to be insufficient even in quantities.

4. You will have to read nonstop for about ten years to catch up with all I have read on the subject. In my quest to prove a pro vaccine stance to my skeptical husband, I was forced to see the studies in a critical light unlike my initial pro vaccine attitude. I was so like you.

Crazy good letter. I vaccinated all 3 of my boys up until 3 weeks ago and I researched the facts . I read the studies saw who funded them and connected the dots. My one yr old coincidentally got his 1 yr Hep A and Prevna shot in the middle of me researching after the CDC Scientist came forward and the media hide it. My son had a pretty nasty reaction that came and went over 3 weeks. Hives, fever, Rash, and his legs involuntarily jerked one night when he couldn’t sleep and was crying as if he was in pain. I trust my pediatrician and he was my 3rd so I blew it off. Then realized and looked up side effects of those shots.. they were all there. :( I called my Pedi’s office the nurse said no way was that from the shot.. probably a heat rash or a contact rash etc. But then went on to suggest I hold off on the MMR. The highest standard of scientific investigation is NOT based on a name. It’s based on HOW a study is conducted. You see there are different types of scientific research.

There are also different types of statistical analysis of the study results. All scientists around the world understand the principles that make a study high quality vs questionable or biased. In fact, the purpose of the peer review process of most scientific journals is to get a bunch of unrelated scientists who have absolutely no ties to the research, and ask them to rip it apart. Even after a study is published, it is open to criticism from the entire rest of the scientific community.

When we look at when vaccines were introduced, we know the incidence, or RATE or RISK of getting that diseases drastically diminished.

Let me use some made up numbers to demonstrate. Let’s say there is a 20% risk of getting varicella without the vaccine. With the vaccine, there’s a 0.0001% risk.

Now let’s use your autism numbers, which I’m not going to verify as correct. When we look at all the boys who have vaccines, and all the boys who don’t, in this day and age (not before and after, but all today), we know that the rate of autism between the two groups is EXACTLY THE SAME.

That’s how science works: it doesn’t make guesses based on before and after. It puts two groups head to head and examines the percentage that are effected in each.

Dr. Madhi reports receiving lecture fees and fees for serving on advisory boards from GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, and Sanofi Pasteur and grant support from Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, Sanofi Pasteur, and MedImmune; and Dr. Weinberg consulting fees from Merck and grant support from Merck, MedImmune, Becton Dickinson, Roche, and GlaxoSmithKline; and Dr. Violari fees for serving on a data and safety monitoring board from Janssen and grant support from Janssen, Aeras, Gilead, and the Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative.

Jeffry, that’s an excellent point. Conflicts of interest must always be scrutinized.

Here’s how I break things down (and for the record, this is my own personal opinion). First I look at the quality of the design setup and statistics directly. If there are big holes in the setup, as is not uncommonly the case from Big Pharma studies, I discredit the study entirely. The study setup will give inclusion/exclusion criteria, and combined with statistical analysis, will usually show if numbers are being fudged. The benefit of prospective studies is that it’s harder to fudge the numbers.

Next, I look at the authors. Do they have conflicts of interest? If yes, it certainly makes me look back and ensure the data and analysis are valid. If still looking legit, that only leaves me with the question of whether I think the authors would go so far as to outright lie about the data. That’s unfortunately a question that just can’t easily be answered.

So what do I use? First, I take a look at the journal. Does it have a reputation for a harshly scrutinizing peer review process? In this case, NEJM absolutely does. They would require unbiased reviewers without conflicts of interest to look over the publication and data to ensure accuracy. There’s another article from JAMA that has a similar conflict. More importantly, I look to see if the findings have been duplicated anywhere. There were a lot of overlaps in my quick literature review.

Could someone completely fabricate all the data? Sure. But those things tend to come out. It’s a bit embarrassing when a company says “the side effect risk of our drug is 1%” when doctors around the country notice it’s closer to 10%. Again, truth is reproducible. It’s why science fakers, both with Big Pharma in this country and independent researchers around the world get discovered.

So we sit and notice that retrospective examination from conflict-free investigators parallels the same conclusions as these prospective studies with conflicts of interest. We see influenza rates drop where there are vaccine usage. We see iron lungs disappear after the polio vaccine; not just coincidentally in this country, but whenever it is introduced in other countries as well. We see chicken pox, which affected 4 million kids a year, become nearly eradicated. Worse yet, we see when vaccinations go away, these illnesses return.

He claims that 20/23 people who caught measles during an outbreak in NY were vaccinated and that “3 were foreigners” (not sure what being foreign has to do with immunization status) and that this information puts a “dent in the herd immunity theory”. He must not have an understanding on what herd immunity is. In order for a “herd” to be protected, >/= 95% must be vaccinated. Vaccines don’t guarantee protection, but decrease the chances of contracting a life threatening illness.
2. He goes on to explain that their last doctor told them that people are dying and that this number can be counted by “less than all the fingers on both hands”. Any number of deaths is too many.
3. Next he quotes the FDA saying that doses greater than 25 micrograms of aluminum can be considered toxic. This would be relevant if vaccines were given intravenously, but they’re not. They’re given orally, subcutaneously or intramuscularly, but NEVER by intravenous route. Absorption via oral, SC and IM routes is much less than by IV route.

Jeffry, I have noticed on multiple occasions now that you often times start conversations with legitimate points, but then completely fail to respond when they are addressed, especially with evidence. This makes it hard to hold an academic discussion if one party runs away whenever anyone points out they’re wrong.

So in an attempt to actually figure out your reasoning behind propagating the unsupported beliefs you hold, I have a few questions I hope you’d be willing to answer:
1. Do you believe vaccines are ineffective, or just that they have risk?
2. Are your beliefs supported by research you’ve seen or anecdotal stories?
3. What got you started thinking this way? Did you encounter some event personally?
4. Do you receive any money or other benefit from this website? (hey I figure that’s fair game since yall ask people like me all the time)
5. What is your scientific training? In other words, what background do you have that puts you in a good position to evaluate this topic?

Yes, science has become the new religion. I understand this. You have no means of opening your eyes to what’s before you without a laboratory and a multimillion dollar budget. You need years of peer-reviewed studies to confirm the obvious (or, in some cases, to deny it). The one thing that you’ll never be able to confirm through the scientific method, however, is the presence and power of the intuitive faculties. If you are attuned to yourself and your world through the sensory field of your body, you’ll know from one experience that cigarettes, alcohol, and refined sugar are destructive to your body and its immune system. You won’t need studies or scientific proof to determine this. Likewise, if you’re attuned, you’ll become sensitive to the inner states of others. You will sense their emotional states, you will sense where in their bodies they are holding on to sickness, you can sense whether they are intellectually inclined, honest, sexually overactive, and so on. The reason why you don’t sense these things is because you perceive yourself as an isolated person, disconnected from others and from nature. If you are habituated with gaining all knowledge through outward means, then you’ll lose this faculty. There is no “magical power” to determine causality, but when you realize that there is direct perception of life through the electro-magnetic fields we generate, you shift your knowledge-base to balance upon what is determined inwardly through what is determined outwardly. In other words, your science, without intuition, is merely a belief system. You cannot determine causality through scientific means alone because most causality has a root which is invisible to scientific method.

How about the other two questions that I asked you:

1. Should we stop all vaccination for measles until the “perfect” one comes along, or keep using it to suppress the occurrence of the disease and its sequelae
as much as possible?
2. To the extent that ‘shedding’ does occur from the few vaccines that utilize a live attenuated form of the virus, please explain how this is even comparable to the problems caused when no vaccines are given and almost everyone gets the actual illness and sheds the wild form of the disease with its chance of disability or death.

As a lifelong nonvaxer, I know how to care for these children with the childhood diseases since I had them myself. As a grandparent, I pass this information on to my own children. The diseases are not as dangerous as you portray them. Get an old medical book and read up on it.

I spent months reading the scientific literature and wrote a survey paper citing dozens of peer-reviewed scientific papers showing cogently and consistently that early adjuvanted vaccines are dangerous. I also looked at the Safety surveys and they don’t cite or rebut any of the extensive peer-reviewed literature showing danger. They just pretend it doesn’t exist. Well, after all this, I know that I will DEFINITELY delay vaccines. No reason to give a baby a ton of shots at one time. Still deciding on the “vaccinating period” part.

They put out their pro-vax spam scripts and links to fool the people and to get end of month ‘bonus points’ from every reply they get. Here’s how I evaluate those citations: all of them that I looked at and I presume all, evaluated the effectiveness of a vaccine at raising titers for a short period of time, and maybe looked at whether there were immediate reports of problems right after the vaccine. I accept the conclusion that most vaccines are effective at raising titers for a period of time in most recipients, which these papers demonstrate.

However I also believe the scientific literature provides ample reason to believe that most vaccines protection fades after a few years, so that you may become infected by the disease and contagious for it even if not displaying a full case, and suggests that vaccines damage the development of childrens’ immune systems and brains in other ways.

For example, here is a study, that , like your first, is on a TIV vaccine. Its the only true placebo controlled study of a vaccine on children I’ve ever seen, that followed their health rather than simply whether they got some specific disease, and followed it for a length of time over 4 months. And it reports the vaccine badly damaged their immune systems in other ways, causing them to have 4 times as many respiratory illnesses.

I think your research is a little off. Does your child have kidney issues or renal impairment? If not than she can handle a much higher amount of Al than that chart states because her properly working kidney will excrete it out. Also, parenteral nutrition is designed to feed a person (neonate or otherwise) that has such horrible issues with their GI tract (trauma, congenital issues etc.) that they must be fed directly into one of their veins. It is an incredibly risky form of feeding and a last resort because of the issues described as outlined by the CDC. “prolonged intravenous exposure” and “parental nutrition” are not the same as a vaccine. those are longer term treatments, directly into a vein, whereas a vaccine goes subcutaneously (under the skin) or intramuscularly (into the muscle). The physiology is very different between the two things that you are trying to compare. I think that sometimes medical research can be confusing because words are different int he medical world than in normal vernacular language.

This letter has a clear fundamental error. His main argument about aluminium is that ‘aluminium may reach toxic levels with prolonged parental administration’. The term ‘parental’ means administration by intravenous injection. Immunisations are always intramuscular injections. The difference is significant and requires an understanding of the complex field of pharmokinetics which I will not go into now. But basically the toxic parental dose of a substance will always be much lower than the toxic intramuscular dose of the same substance due to the rate of substance absorption. So his concerns about the toxicity of Aluminium is incorrect.
