“I Am Being Forced to Get Vaccinations in Order to Attend My Clinicals.”

vaccines-school

This message comes from Jon:

“I am entering the health field and start a respiratory therapy program this fall. I am 50 years old and a displaced worker from the heavy highway construction industry, was homeless for several months until a kind lady took me in and is feeding and housing me. I have lived a healthy life style since the age of 15 and am living off my unemployment and grants to attend school. I am being forced to get vaccinations in order to attend my clinicals. I talked to the vice president of the college, [redacted] and he said it is the hospitals policy and that he has nothing to do with that policy, even though he is a pro-vaccine advocate as I found out during my discussion with him. I havent had a vaccine since I was in my teens (except for tetanus shot due to work related injuries) and I am scared to death of the physical consequences that may occur soon after or years later. I presented him with factual and accurate data that shows the tuth about vaccines and he would not take a look at them. I also told him I do not want these chemicals, toxins and heavy metals in my body. I know if something negative should occur that I have no recourse and could not prove the damage they caused because of the immunity granted by our government to the pharmaceuticals.

Why am I being forced to put dangerous chemicals in my body in order to get and education so I can be a productive, contributing citizen? I am of average intelligence and have worked hard to earn my 4.00 average and I AM SCARED OUT OF MY MIND!!! I am Alone and have very little income. Is there something you can do to help me?”

Can you go to school for naturopathic medicine instead?  If you feel this way, I fear you are heading into the wrong career field.  Best of luck!

  • Raini

Unfortunately, you chose a profession that is a sick care industry, not health care.  I am surprised that are you are surprised – traditional medicine LOVESSSS vaccines – what they know is burn, cut and poison.  Perhaps if you go to VacTruth.com they may have some type of exemption form you could try using.   Besides, the doctor’s non-responsiveness to your plea should be a “red flag”, an indicator of things to come – you might want to rethink this my dear!

  • Tanyas_here2002

Can’t you fill out a religious exemption? Surely they can’t hold your job against your religion. I’d research the laws. B/c one may say its our policy, but it goes against the constitution. No one can make you do anything you feel is wrong. I would research print out what you find and go from there. Good luck.

Vaccine exemption laws for your state can be found here: http://www.nvic.org/Vaccine-Laws/state-vaccine-requirements.aspx

  • Betsysinghanand

Well, your choice is to shut up and take them now AND during the length of your career OR change your plans. This is just one of the many reasons I am no longer a nurse.

  • Betsysinghanand

Unfortunately, the hospital’s policy supersedes exemption laws. Employees must choose between keeping their job or being fired for non-compliance with hospital policy. No, it isn’t right, but it’s the way it is. Same goes for being injected at least once a year with PPD for TB testing.

“. . . I do not want these chemicals, toxins and heavy metals in my body.”

Really? What about the dangerous chemicals and toxins that you were exposed to day in and day out as a road construction worker? Didn’t that bother you? Weren’t you scared out of your mind then?

If you become a respiratory therapist, one of your jobs will be to ‘force’ chemicals into the lungs of your patients. Any concerns about that?
Your thinking on this is incredibly inconsistent.

“I have no recourse and could not prove the damage they caused because of the immunity granted by our government to the pharmaceuticals.”

Apparently this has not been clearly explained to you. The vaccine manufacturers have not been ‘granted immunity’ – instead they all pay into a damages fund that is administered by the vaccine court. If you have a case of injury from a vaccine, a low standard of proof (less than for a regular court) is all that is required to receive an award.
Individuals may still pursue damages through the tort system, but of course the standard of proof required there will be higher.

My 19 yr. old grandson joined the Air Force and was required to get the chicken pox, HPV vaccine and two others, not known.   I am doubly upset now.

  • Marypat747

My 19 yr. old grandson recently joined the Air Force and was required to get the chicken pox, HPV and two other vaccines. (not sure what these were).  Now, I am doubly upset.

  • prochoice

I wish you were right, but the pharmaceuticals do not pay into a fund.  The added expense is added onto everyone who receives a vaccination.  The public pays for it, not the pharmaceuticals and it is very difficult to prove a vaccine related injury or adverse effect as the whole point is to deny any injury at all from vaccines.

  • prochoice

Not really inconsistent. That is why I chose this field.  Fortunately drugs for the respiratory system is fairly safe as many are local and smaller doses are delivered by this route than by the parenteral route.  Side effects are caused when a drug enters the body systemically which does occur with respiratory routes as well.

I felt the same way when I was given the list of vaccines I had to have, so I got titers done on several of them.  But I still had to get the TDAP and flu shot, so I loaded up on antioxidants, sucked it up, and got them.  Since I am not a child, I feel that my immune system can handle a few toxins as long as I take care of myself and eat right.  The TDAP shot made my arm swell up for 2 weeks and hurt like hell, which made me sympathetic to children receiving that vaccine.   It sucked, but I got through it and it will be worth it when I graduate and go into HOLISTIC nursing!

When I worked in construction I wore gloves and respirator when it was requires as I have always put my health as a first priority.  Others I worked with did not and on one occasion OSHA drove by and there was a $5000 fine for each worker that did not have a respirator on

  • prochoice

I did talk to an attorney that specialized in vaccination rights and legally you do not have to take the shots and for the most part he said their has been one case where a health care worker said they fired him because he refused shots and that is near impossible to prove especially in a pro-vaccine world.  On the other hand their were many successful cases and no one lost their job.

  • prochoice

Actually the hospitals policy does not supercede the federal government law.  The attorney I contacted has a written response from the attorneys of the specific government agency that deals with vaccination stating it is illegal to force anyone to be vaccinated!!

  • Argus

So you used the safety equipment your company provided and just trusted that they were looking after your best interests? Just like the companies that exposed their workers to radium, lead, and asbestos? Didn’t you do any “research” to make sure what you were being exposed to on the job wasn’t harmful?
So you trusted OSHA that the rules they enforced were sufficient to protect you? If you have such faith in the government, why don’t you trust the FDA?

  • Argus

The only thing it is difficult to prove in Vaccine Court is that an injury that was NOTcaused by a vaccine should be compensated for by the fund.
Any cost of business that a company has will be passed on through the prices of the products they sell. It’s just more transparent when it has been set up in advance this way. It also eliminates the problem of winning a judgement in court that can never be collected because the cash is not available.

  • prochoice

I have talked to an attorney who specializes in vaccine rights and yes I have the right to deny any and all vaccination but than there is no safety net to protect me from any kind of discrimination or made up bullshit as to my attitude or anything else they want to use to kick me out of the program.  In other words no protection for those who do refuse to be vaccinated and I cannot take that chance at this late stage in my life.  So it is a forced choice to continue with school so I can gain employment or quit and give up on any hope of becomming independent and productive.  I have established the guideline for religious exemption as per the attorneys advice for refusal when I am gainfully employed.

  • prochoice

No schools for naturopaths in the area I am in.  Believe me that was my first and foremost thought as I have lived a healthy lifestyle since the age of 16 and I am healthy at the half century mark while most people in my age group are on several drugs or more.  It will be difficult knowing the lies the teachers are spewing out to the students.  I confronted the pharmacy teacher about the FDA and she admitted they do not protect us but that was there intention when established in 1938.  It made me sick knowing she was telling untruths and the students were sucking it up like a sponge.

  • prochoice

Who said I trusted the Government!!  No!  I did not use the equipment they provided, which was a 2 banded paper mask.  I personally purchased the proper respirator for any chemical or dust particle I had to work with.  What they provided was inadequate.  Why do you assume that I did not wear adequate safety equipment and how can you make judgements without knowing the facts?  i.e  you do not know what area of road construction I was employed in.  And why are you grilling me?  No disrespect intended but when you asume you make an ASS out of U and ME.  PLEASE REFRAIN FROM MAKING ASSUMPTIONS AND JUDGEMENTS ABOUT MY LIFE!  I have always put my health as a priority.

  • prochoice

I highly recommend informative DVD’s from Dr. Sherri Tenpenny.  Google her name.  I have researched and studied  vaccination in animals and humans for over 10 years. I will state this so that anyone who loves animals as I do will do what is best for them.  Dogs and cats only need core vaccinations once in their lifetime for immunity as puppies and kittens.  Maybe a rabies vaccine twice during their life time.  Please ask for a titer test to confirm that they will or will not need the rabies vaccination a second time.  Please go to mercola.com and type in vaccination for dogs and listen to a 4 part video interview with Dr. schultz on vaccinating your dog.

  • prochoice

That is great!  I wish you well in your field.  I have a choice to receive the flu shot or wear the mask.  I will wear the mask as I take 5000 IU of Vitamin D3 twice a day and have not seen a doctor in 32 years because of my healthy lifestyle of exercise, eating well and avoiding processed food, hydrogenated fats. corn products, synthetic sugars and fructose corn syrup.  I did have a hair analysis performed and I am extremely healthy and heavy metal free.

  • Argus

So your only choice is to give up a chance for a job in the health care field (because you don’t really believe in established standards of health care) or be permanently unemployed. Because there is no other field of employment you could pursue where this conflict would not come into play?

A cynical person might believe that the situation posed here is not real, but is something put forth as a ‘question’ just to have a chance to put forth as many anti-vaccine tropes as possible.

” Fortunately drugs for the respiratory system is fairly safe as many are local and smaller doses are delivered by this route than by the parenteral route.  Side effects are caused when a drug enters the body systemically which does occur with respiratory routes as well.”

Unfortunately you are quite misinformed.  Drugs used for respiratory conditions have a long list of side-effects and drugs given per inhalation are quickly absorbed- not only into the respiratory system but also systemically. Just watch what happens to the heart rate after a patient inhales Ventolin!
Your body is not made of separate, isolated compartments but is a meticulously interconnected system thus anything you apply topically, or inject, ingest, inhale etc will certainly become part of this intricate system.
In my nursing career I  saw many sad cases of respiratory patients whose lives became a living hell because of the side-effects of the drugs they were on.   If you are inclined towards living a holistic, natural life-style you will find this career you have chosen to be frustrating in the extreme!

I think that you should type up a document that write yourself or could possibly locate and modify to suit your situation. It should state that you are declaring a religous vaccine exemption based on your Constituional right to freedom of religion. You do not have to declare what religion because that is private information protected by our Constitution (if you are American?) as well. I am a Christian and I declared that on my children’s vaccine exemptions for their pediatrician (who was seriously pushing me into trying to get me to vaccinate my new baby).I typed up that under no circumstances was I going to agree to the chemicals, poisons, heavy metals,BROKEN ANIMAL/HUMAN DNA and ABORTED FETAL TISSUE to e injected, inhaled, absorbed into their bodies. Also put that you absolutely take every necessary action to live a healthy lifestyle needed to support a healthy immune system.I consulted with my attorney about the details as well.I took it to a notary which can easily be found at places like The UPS store, etc. just check the Internet for the closest one near you.It costs around ten dollars or less and you will bring in your ID and sign the document in front of the notary and they will finish the process. Then you will go to the proper person at your school and or hospital and tell them this is a notarized religous exemption on which you consulted an attorney, hand them the document and if they argue, say I am not asking for exemption,I am respectfully and legally exercising my constitutional right to freedom of religion.Hopefully this will be enough to shut them down. They do not want a lawsuit/Constitutional torte. They most certainly would respect a Muslim’s religous exemption claim.I wish you luck and gumption.Stand your ground, the U.S. Constutiin is a very powerful thing entity that bullies will pretend doesn’t exist until you claim your rights.God bless you on your journey,I am very proud of you and will be praying for you. ~ Joy

Thank you for the information.  I was taught that they are fairly safe by my pharmocological teacher.  Apparently they are spewing forth many untruths to the students.  Is it a factor of risks versus benefit and their is nothing else they can do for these patients?  I definately understand the anatomy and physiology of the body but the way she explained it did make sense to me.  Could you elaborate on the side effects and the affects on their lives?  I know I will be frustrated and I will have to deal with my own demons but I do want to help people and this is the only alternative in my life is to become part of the health sick system.  SAD!  Isn’t it!

  • prochoice

Well written!!  Thank you for the information and your prayers.  Bless you and your family.  A good book to read is by one of Americas leading Pediatricians  Robert S. Mendelson, M. D. “How to raise a healthy child in spite of your doctor”.

Argus is grilling you, prochoice, because you challenge vaccines. Argus does not want to elaborate his connection to vaccines, however, given his fanatical support of them, you can guess he likely has some type intimate involvement with the pharmaceutical industry.

  • siamesekat

Are they able to force vaccines on people who already have had the diseases which these vaccines target?  If so, wouldn’t such a therapy damage that person’s body as well as be of no therapeutic value whatsoever?  Has Jon had all those diseases already?  I was born in the late 1950s and had almost all of them before my fourth birthday, including a poliovirus relative.  For some reason, I never developed a clinical case of whooping cough or of the mumps.  But, guess what?  Exposure to newly vaccinated kids in a local library caused me to come down with whooping cough in August of 2004 and with the mumps this August (although this diagnosis still is not confirmed).  My doctor, an MD/PhD, a cardiologist in Memphis, TN, has told me now twice to stay the H___ away from vaccinated kids.  It seems to me that Jon’s best argument  is that he already has had the diseases and is immune and non-infective.  In fact, he is at greatest risk of coming down with these illnesses only if he must be exposed to newly vaccinated kids … I am thoroughly confused by this situation.

  • Srlccbcc

Where do you live? If you can find a anti-vaccine MD they can write you a medical exemption – finding them is difficult….I found one to write a medical exemption for my adopted Fetal Alcohol Exposed daughter who really did NOT need any more chemicals injected into her body before going to school – she has enought problems as it is to add more…

  • Argus

Prochoice, Jon, or whatever your name is, I thought this was a made up situation to begin with, and now you have been caught in a lie which proves it. In your “question” you state that you are starting your training in the fall. Now you state that you have already had a class with a “pharmacological teacher”. Did you forget you haven’t started, yet?

Your other statements and choice of words make it clear that you have not learned anything about this field and that your only purpose here is to put forth lies and pretend you are somehow a victim of the health care (you even choose to say ‘health sick’) system.

In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Jeffry tha really wrote this, pretendin to be ‘Jon’.

  • janie inMN

have you thought of a potential shift of gears to veterinary care vs respiratory therapy? they’re doing more with titers and ‘selective’ vaccinations now for animals… more alternative vets are needed… and vet technicians….
    janieinMN

  • janie inMN

@argus – per the original post, the respiratory therapy “program” was starting up in fall… to get to a specialized program, you have to have been taking classes already. thus the premise for your accusation doesn’t stand.

  • prochoice

Argus.  You definately must be a pro-vaccine advocate as your common sense and attention to detail is lacking.  This will be the last time that I will respond to your ignorance and waste my valuable time.  I e-mailed Jeffry over 7 weeks ago.  He finally wrote me back apologizing for the delay as he was away for awhile. I started the fall schedule several weeks ago.  I hope this is last time you waste your time and everyones elses time with your nonsense.  I wish you well!

  • prochoice

Thank you janie inMN for paying attention to detail and for supporting me.

  • prochoice

Thank you for your comments and kindness.  I do love nature and animals and try my best to help any and all life forms that I come across.  Unfortunately my finances will not allow me to persue such a career in veterinarian medicine.   I definately would of been in heaven on earth helping animals.  Maybe in heaven  God will let me care for his creations.

  • prochoice

How would yopu suggest that I look for a anti-vaccine doctor?  Thank you for your time and any assistance.

  • prochoice

I would like to thank everyone who responded with caring and thoughtful ideas!!

  • Argus

Your attention to detail is lacking.  If you took any sort of a class about the effects of drugs in the body, you can bet it wasn’t called a “pharmocological class” taught by a “pharmocological teacher”.  Name the school and point us toward the class listing that shows that kind of a spelling.

Or just play like Jeffry and just run away without answering questions with any sort of facts.

  • janie inMN

argus –  “pharmAcological” — so we spelled it with an O instead of an A… big deal. google it and you’ll find tons of links to pharm. research and classes. why are you being so negative and attacking prochoice ?, who’s merely looking for more info to help in his/her quest to find a “safe” way to continue education to ‘get to work’.

pharmacy, pharmacology, pharmacologist, pharmacological… many different forms… all “relating” to the study of drugs. the more common term used for educational classes would be pharmacology… but the other is acceptable in casual writing, such as the posting here… we all certainly knew what was meant. i find it amusing that you have to resort to picking apart words and mis-spellings so you can continue arguing.

if you don’t want to lend support and help with ideas, i respectfully suggest you take your negativity somewhere else. based on my observations, prochoice did NOT post the original posting with intent for debate, argument or to be attacked. shame on you for dragging it there.

  • Argus

Apparently you are just here to shill for Tenpenny.
If you already have this job, why do you need to train for another one?

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100003760925248 Scarlette O’Hara

Please understand that many hospitals have also not been given a choice about flu vaccinations because medicare now expects all healthcare workers to be vaccinated and tied it to re-embursement dollars. The quickest way for the government to gain control is to tie dollars to their expectations and it works. Many of us in the hospital have been told not even an egg allergy unless life threatening or religious beliefs will excuse us if we want to work.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100003760925248 Scarlette O’Hara

Correct, it may be illegal to force vaccination, but most states have employees that can be terminated “at will” and therefore the employee’s who rock the boat will find themselves without a paddle. They cannot make you get the vaccine but say because of your free choice that contridicts established policy you therefor chooseby default not to work in their institution.

  • Argus

So you have decided that what is being taught to you is lies? Based on what?

Please explain why you chose to train for this if you don’t believe in science-based medicine?

And if by some miracle you make it through training, how long do you think you will last on the job when you start substituting your own ‘judgement’ for that of the physicians.

Of course, you haven’t given us the name of the school yet that offers a class in ‘pharmocological’ so I am still waiting to be convinced this is a real situation.

  • Starrstruck

It is against federal law to force a person in training to be vaccinated against his or her religious beliefs.

You refuse to give your connections to vaccines so why should he have to disclose his institution of learning? Stop baiting.
