In a press release dated December 13, 2011 under the subtitles of “Cracking Down on Fraud” and “New Steps to Prevent Fraud with OxyContin, Percocet, and Other Prescription Drugs,” the feds say this:
As a next step in an aggressive campaign to crack down on Medicare fraud, HHS will direct all Medicare prescription drug plans to use every tool at their disposal to prevent fraud. Patients sometimes “doctor shop,” visiting numerous doctors to get multiple prescriptions for OxyContin, Percocet, and other painkillers and narcotics. In some cases, these medicines are abused by the patients, in others, patients sell the extra drugs.
OxyContin and Percocet abuse, prescription drug fraud, and so-called “doctor shopping” are major problems. The Government Accountability Office recently reported that “170,000 Medicare beneficiaries received prescriptions from five or more” doctors for drugs that are frequently abused, like OxyContin and Percocet.
While not all of these cases are fraudulent, some are. In 2008, for example, one Medicare beneficiary “received prescriptions for a total of 3,655 oxycodone pills [such as OxyContin]…from 58 different prescribers.”
Today, HHS announced they have urged insurance companies to take every step possible to prevent such fraud. Specifically, HHS’ guidance tells prescription drug plans to withhold payment on suspicious claims, including when enrollees use multiple doctors to obtain painkillers and narcotics. Companies that offer prescription drug plans already process each of a patient’s prescriptions. While HHS generally requires prompt payment, today’s guidance clarifies that if a plan sees signs of suspicious activity, it should withhold payment to pharmacies until it verifies the claim is valid.

I say, “Great first step in a right direction. But what about vaccines that MDs pump into kids and adults, since Docs make mega bucks via commissions for injecting them?” What’s the difference? Isn’t that running up healthcare costs? See my November 27, 2011 VacTruth article “Are Too Many Vaccines Mandated in the USA?” wherein I quote Tim Bolen’s report,
Take a look at this chart link for pediatricians, put together by payscale.com. As you can quickly see a salaried Pediatrician, in the US, makes somewhere between $68,654 to $169,517. BUT, add on “Commissions” (vaccine pushing) and that income range changes radically. For, as the chart shows, “Commissions” can range from $293.61 to $352,694.

It is my opinion that if the federal government wants to reduce healthcare costs then its health agencies, i.e., HHS, CDC, and FDA, must get out of bed with Big Pharma; ‘divorce’ the relationship; and get into the real scientific facts about the ‘bill of goods’ these agencies have bought hook, line, and sinker.
If the push and mandates to inject more vaccines into infants, toddlers, teens, adults, and seniors continues, there ‘ain’t’ gonna be no end to not only the fraud but iatrogenic diseases caused by the medical and pharmaceutical industries. It’s happening already, and everyone who should be taking notice is turning a back on the statistics that are mounting in front of agency computer screens. The most common retort they offer is something like Oh, vaccines can’t cause harm.
Foreign country after foreign country is getting on the ball with regard to numerous vaccines and the damages they cause. Vaccines are being withdrawn and withheld for numerous reasons in European and Asian countries. However, the U.S. news media has a blackout on reporting that. Why? Because the feds don’t want you to know that information. Please check out these sites for an understanding of what’s going on with vaccines that you may not know about.

Now tell me, please, have you read about the above in your local newspaper; seen any news clips on TV; heard any mention on your favorite talk radio show; or on Internet web pages such as MSN, Google, Yahoo, etc.? Why not? Don’t you think that information is as important as who is jumping in bed with whom in Hollywood?
Can you see how healthcare consumers are being played like a fiddle in the United States? They want to keep us ignorant and dumb about issues that affect our very lives and the lives of our children and grandchildren. Vaccines are their ‘sacred, money-making cows’ that the U.S. Congress gave exemptions from liability for damages caused by them. What a farce! And now HHS wants to stop the fraud in prescription drugs. What are vaccines, if not drugs? As I see it, once the cat is out of the bag, he’s gonna fight like hell to be put back in because he’s a ‘fat cat’ and that’s the way Big Pharma likes it, I think. Consumers who educate themselves about vaccine damages are the first line of defense against all kinds of medical fraud, I truly feel. How about you?
